One hour before the first class, and I'm tired - and excited!

The quilt I'm building for my bed is on the chair in the background. This was NOT the simple starter quilt we built in that first class.

It all started...

I held a quilting workshop in my home in the fall of 2019. It was SO MUCH FUN! For everyone!

I chose a simple patchwork pattern based on a color palette. Each person picked their own.

I set up my fabric and everyone dug through to find their colors. We hemmed, hawed, and picked more than we needed. We talked basic color theory.

We cut, sewed, pinned and quilting. And finished.

I was hooked - and wanted to have more classes.

So then - I was browsing Facebook Marketplace late one night when I couldn't sleep.

- and boom -

there it was...

A quilt shop was going out of business. I walked in and bought it all! Fabric, buttons & zippers - the whole works.

And my workshop was born...

So. Much. Fun!
